## Identity

Tata Portal is a Peruvian art director, 3D artist and creative technologist based in Lima. He works across brand systems, 3D imagery, immersive experiences and AI-assisted visual production for clients in Lima, Latin America and the United States.

He began his career in graphic design and advertising, learning how a strong idea becomes an identity, campaign and system. His practice later expanded into 3D, digital fashion, immersive technology and AI-assisted production. Over more than 10 years, he has collaborated with brands, artists, cultural institutions and technology platforms on work exhibited or deployed in New York, Paris, Buenos Aires, Brasília, Taipei and Lima.

- Built the virtual Gagosian Gallery New York at 976 and 980 Madison Avenue for Takashi Murakami's An Arrow Through History in 2022, via Oncyber.
- Created the metaverse experience for Lablaco at Galeries Lafayette Champs-Élysées in Paris.
- Art directed Pride@ NFTea in collaboration with Meta and Taiwan Tongzhi Hotline Association.
- Participated in Resonancias Paralelas at Centro Cultural Kirchner in Buenos Aires.
- Designed and built the VR 360-degree experience for LAB Metaverse at Universidade Católica de Brasília, preserving ancestral narratives of the Yawanawá, Pataxó and Tukano peoples of Brazil.
- Selected among 100 Latin American artists for a curated NFT showcase at Museo Latinoamericano de Arte in 2021.
- Participated in Lima.GIF v1.0, Lima's first digital animation street exhibition, in Miraflores in 2018.
